A collection of nine science fiction short stories. All the stories were originally published in various American magazines, such as 'Super Science Stories' and 'Astounding Science Fiction', between the years 1940 and 1950.

The stories are all woven together by the character Dr. Susan Calvin, who tells each of these exciting stories to reporters in the twenty-first century.

Isaac Asimov details his large fictional history of robotics, and is an important example of twentieth century science fiction.

Asmiov's important science fiction work was immediately popular when first published, and was later adapted into the 2004 film of the same name starring Will Smith.

Written by Isaac Asimov, a prolific author of hard science fiction, the most important science fiction author of his generation.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, smart. Very light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few minor marks and patches of discolouration to the boards. Dustwrapper with remains of a label to the front wrap. Edgewear to the dustwrapper, resulting in a few small chips to the head and tail of the spine. A little sunning to the spine and a few light marks to the dustwrapper. Discolouration to the reverse of the dustwrapper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
