Bennet (1954) Hugo von Hofmannsthal by H.A. Hammelmann (1957). Sartre: Romantic Realist was the first work to be published by Iris Murdoch, a British born author and philosopher best known for her novels about good and evil, sexual relationships and morality. Murdoch is ranked as one of the 50 greatest British writers. Satre: Romantic Rationalist approaches the works of Sartre from her view point as a novelist, carefully assessing the different strands of his work, historical, political, philosophical and literary.

    In cloth bindings. Externally, smart with some light rubbing and bumping. Spines sunned. Private owners label to front pastedown of all volumes. Boards sunned to Rilke and marks to boards of Stefan George. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
