Ronald Fuller’s simplified retelling of the 1678 Christian allegory from John Bunyan. Regarded as one of the most significant works in English theological fiction, ‘The Pilgrim’s Progress’ has been translated into more than 200 languages, with 1,300 editions having been published by 1938. This scarce abridgement depicts Bunyan’s symbolic vision of the good man’s pilgrimage through life in a condensed form aimed at a younger audience. First edition, in original dust wrapper, and with illustrations by Biro.
Condition
In original publisher’s full cloth binding with original price clipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Some wear to the extremities and slight tear to the head of the front board. Some light spotting to back board and reverse of dust wrapper and some slight age-toning. Age-tone strips (?) to recto of endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
