In the original publisher's cloth binding, with a renewed front paste down and front endpaper. Externally, generally smart, with light marks to the boards and spine. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Tape marks to the head and tail of the rear board. Hinges are starting but firm. Tape marks to the rear hinge, and surface wear to the rear paste down. Marks to the verso of the rear endpaper. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and generally clean with a few scattered spots.
