    First edition. Scarce work. Published to commemorate The Festival of Britain in 1951. Illustrated throughout with photographs and figures, some of which are in colour. As part of the record of Britain's industrial enterprise during the century from 1851, this work provides an account of the growth and development of the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company. With reference to the types of carriages used across the Commonwealth.

    Condition

    In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, excellent with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd crease.
