Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally sound with minor shelf wear and bumping to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, faint damp marking to the extremities of the spine. Gift inscription from the author's husband to the front free endpaper, dated 1955. Inscribed by Carol Bowler to the front pastedown, undated. With some previous owner's annotattions to the odd leaf. The dust wrapper is generally sound, unclipped with shelf wear and chipping, minor loss to the head and tail of the spine and extremities, tape repairing along the spine extremities and fly leaves. Minor tape markings to the endpapers. Internally, firmly bound. Light minor spotting scattered to the leaves.
