Phyllis Bottome (1884-1963) was a British novelist and short story writer. In this novel she tackles the issue of racism, through a story of passion set in the West Indies.
Condition
In publisher's original cloth binding, with original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally, both cloth and gilt lettering are bright and smart. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Dust wrapper remains vibrant except for the slightly darkened spine. A little chipping to the head and tail of the spine to the wrap, and light wear to the joints and folds.
