1950 The Principles of Mink Ranching
What Our Customers Say...
Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce
A scarce volume on methods of mink ranching, with thirty four illustrations. At the time of this work's publication, mink farming was a relatively new branch of animal husbandry in Canada. In this slim volume, J. A. Allen offers guidance on methods of mink ranching, and where possible offers a rudimentary sketch of the scientific principles underlying his techniques. Although mink farming has been banned in the United Kingdom since 2000, it is still legal in Canada and the US.
In the publisher's original blue paper wraps. Externally, sound. With a couple of marks to the paper wraps, and some light bumping to the extremities. There is a three-inch tear to the paper wrap at the front joint, and a little loss of wrap near the head of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Aside from some marks to pages 40 to 43, pages are bright and clean.
