Written by David T. D. Clarke, a British archaeologist known for the works 'Colchester Castle', 'Roman Colchester' and 'Old Leicester, an Illustrated Record of Change in the city'.

Leicester Museum opened in 1849 and was one of the first public museums of the United Kingdom at the time.

An especially scarce work.

Condition

In a full cloth binding. Externally very smart, with just a little minor wear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a little spotted in places, but generally bright.
