A collection of nine science fiction short stories. All the stories were originally published in various American magazines, such as 'Super Science Stories' and 'Astounding Science Fiction', between the years 1940 and 1950.
The stories are all woven together by the character Dr. Susan Calvin, who tells each of these exciting stories to reporters in the twenty-first century.
Isaac Asimov details his large fictional history of robotics, and is an important example of twentieth century science fiction.
Asmiov's important science fiction work was immediately popular when first published, and was later adapted into the 2004 film of the same name starring Will Smith.

In the original publisher's cloth binding, in the original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, with a dampstain and discolouration to the tail of the rear board. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A few light spots to the fore edge. Dampstain has caused discolouration to the rear pastedown and marginally to the last few leaves. Dustwrapper with a dampstain to the rear wrap and rear flyleaf. Aged tape repair to the reverse of the dustwrapper. A couple of small chips to the rail of the rear wrap. Light edgewear to the dustwrapper. Sunning to the spine and to the front wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
