Description

Fine Binding, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

Written by Jack Snow as a part of the continuation of the Oz stories which came after original author L Frank Baum's death. This is one of two books written by Jack Snow for the Oz series. His previous work was 'The Magical Mimics in Oz'. This is the first edition of Snow's text, as indicated by the pictorial endpapers, and the grey binding. The size of a leaf is also 8 7/8" by 6 1/2 " (Greene, Hanff, Martin et al P.93-94). Illustrated throughout with numerous black and white vignettes and full page illustrations by Frank G Kramer. Frank G Kramer was the chief illustrator for both of Snow's Oz books.

Condition

In original cloth binding with pictorial cover to the front board. Externally, smart with some bumping to the extremities and to the head and tail of spine. some fading to spine and extremities due to sun exposure. A few handling marks to joints also. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
