What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

With the scarce original dustwrapper. Including 'A Commonplace Story', 'A Present For A Good Girl', 'The Amateurs' and many others. Nadine Gordimer was a South African writer who was also a political activist and won the Nobel Prize in 1991. Her writings mostly had political undertones, especially about apartheid in South Africa.

Condition

In a blue cloth binding with original dustwrapper. Externally, generally smart. Some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Dustwrapper is sound, though with some loss, closed tears, sunning, and foxing to the inner flyleaf. Tape repairs to the reverse. Tipped-in cutting about the book to front endpaper. Internally, generally firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, with just some spotting to the textblock edge.
