What Our Customers Say...

Description

Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

First published in 1933, this mystery novel follows Lord Peter Wimsey as he follows a mystery partly set in an advertising agency.

Dorothy Leigh Sayers (1893-1957) was a prolific English writer remembered for her crime fiction, in particular her novels and short stories featuring Lord Peter Wimsey, an aristocrat and sleuth. Sayers also wrote plays, poetry, translations of classical and modern works and literary criticisms.

In an uncommon yellow Gollancz dust wrapper.

This is the nineteenth impression of this work.

A cheap edition.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally generally smart, with the head and tail of the spine slightly discoloured. Dust wrapper is a touch sunned to the spine, with a little spotting and discolouration to the tail and covers, however, it is structurally in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are a touch age-toned, but otherwise clean.
