Illustrated by English Bawden, an English artist who served as a war artist during World War II.

With an introductory essay by Noel Carrington, the brother of the Bloomsbury group member Dora Carrington.

Condition

In the original publisher's paper covered boards. Externally, smart. Spine is a little discoloured. A touch of bumping to the head and tail of the spine. A couple of faint marks to the boards. A couple of spots to the fore edge. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean with a couple of light spots.
