Illustrated throughout with full plates and vignettes, as well as with a full colour frontispiece illustration.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding, in a box with two gramophone records in a sleeve each. Externally lovely. Dust wrapper is in excellent condition, with minor chips to the head and tail of the spine and extremities. Box is externally a trifle worn, with corners rubbed away and flaps unattached; records are pristine. Ownership inscription to the front endpaper. Internally firmly bound, pages are bright and clean.
