This set includes: Allan Quartermain Nineteenth impression. The sequel to King Solomon's Mines, 1887, following Quarterman's desires to get back into the wilderness after the death of his only son. She Fourteenth impression. A first person narrative of Horace Holly, following as he and his ward Leo Vincey journey to a lost kingdom in the African interior where they meet the natives and their all-powerful queen Ayesha.

Condition

In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with minor wear to the extremities. Original unclipped dust wrappers are also smart with minor wear to the extremities and the odd small mark to the panels. The odd small closed tear to the edges of the dust wrapper of She. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean with the odd spot.
