Old Kingdom Art in Ancient Egypt is a first edition copy, published in 1949 and examines the art of ancient Egypt from an aesthetic point of view. With a descriptive catalogue of details of the illustrations. With seventy one illustrations. 

Middle Kingdom Art in Ancient Egypt is a reprint, published in 1956. This work surveys the classical art of Middle Kingdom in Egypt from 2300 to 1590 BC. With eight three illustrations. 

Collated, complete. 

Both are in the original unclipped dust wrappers.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding. Externally, very smart with some fading to the top of the boards of Middle Kingdom. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages. Both are in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Middle Kingdom dust wrapper is very smart. Old Kingdom dust wrapper is chipped to the extremities and head and tail of the spine and faded to the spine.
