    Description

    First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, With Dustwrapper

    With the original unclipped dustwrappers in a smart condition.

    Comprising volumes I and II of this eventual three volume set. At the time of publication there were only two volumes issued. A third volume was published in 1952. 

    Uncommon to have multiple volumes of this work together.

    Being the personal correspondence of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. Roosevelt was the thirty-second president of the United States from 1933 to 1945. 


    Condition

    In the publisher's original cloth bindings. With original unclipped dustwrappers. Externally, very smart, with minor shelfwear to the extremities. Dustwrappers are very smart with minor chips to the extremities and to the head and tail of spines. Light rubbing and sunning to the spines. Internally, both volumes are firmly bound. Pages are bright. Spotting to the first and last few pages. Just the odd spot.
