Revised edition, being the sixth printing and third printing respectively. In the original unclipped dust wrappers. An interesting two volume set, being an historical anthology of music. Volume one covers oriental, medieval and renaissance music and contains sheet music for some of the most important composers of the time, including Heinrich Finck, Pierre de la Rue, Nikoloaus Gombert and Costanzo Festa. Volume two covers baroque, rococo and pre-classical music and features composers such as Bach, Handel and Gluck.

Condition

In the original cloth bindings in the original unclipped dust wrappers. Externally in excellent condition with minor shelf wear only. Dust wrappers are generally smart with chipping and closed tears to the extremities. Marks to the wraps. Internally firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
