Densely illustrated throughout with many black and white photographs, including a photograph of King George VI as the frontispiece.
Includes an application form for the publication of The Official Report of the XIV Olympiad by Lord Burghley, to be published on December 7th 1951.
Condition
In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, very smart. There is some light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. The spine is slightly faded and there is some light wear to the boards. The hinges are slightly strained but firm. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean with some light spots to the endpapers.
