In a signed half leather Zaehnsdorf binding, with the publisher's original paper wraps bound in.

Published by the US state department in 1948, this work details the political relationship between Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia in the first half of the Second World War, 1939-1941. The work is populated with documents from the archives of the German Foreign Office.

With the armorial bookplate of Sir Morgan George Crofton to the front pastedown, and the inscription of the same man to a front endpaper, dated 1949.

Condition

In a signed half leather binding with cloth covered boards, with original paper wraps bound in. Some rubbing to spine. Bookplate to front pastedown. Contemporary inscription to front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright and clean.
