Description

Fine Binding, Signed Binding

With the binder's stamp to the verso of front endpaper, 'Morrell, Binder London'. Written by Charles Clarke, an eminent Anglican priest and author in the middle third of the 20th century. This 'Everyman's Book of Saints' was his first writing. A biographical study of the Anglican Saints. A beautifully bound copy of this work.

Condition

In a half calf binding, with cloth covered boards. Externally, very smart with light shelfwear to the boards and spine. Minor fading to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright. The odd spot to endpapers.
