Illustrated with thirty-seven plates in monochrome demonstrating samplers from the seventeenth century and onwards bound to the rear and a frontispiece. Collated, complete.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, generally smart with some slight wear to the head and tail of the spine. Boards have sprung a touch. Dust wrapper is just a little sunned to the spine with some general wear to the boards. Pages are bright and clean, bar the odd spot.
