    Description

    Churchill's memoirs of the Second World War, covering from the first of September 1939 until December 1940.

    In the French language. 

    Volume I is lacking the original dust wrapper; volume II is complete with the dust wrapper. 

    Illustrated with occasional diagrams and maps.

    Condition

    In the original paper wraps; volume II is complete with a dust wrapper. Externally generally smart; a touch age-toned to the edges of volume I in particular, which has a library label to the tail of the spine. Dust wrapper of second volume is in excellent condition, with some slight sunning to the spine and chipping to the head and tail. A library sticker to the tail of the spine of the dust wrapper. Library stamps to the front endpaper. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned, with unopened leaves throughout.
