What Our Customers Say...

Description

Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Uncommon, With Dustwrapper

First edition of The Queen Elizabeth The World's Greatest Ship in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper.

Edited by Clarence Winchester and P. R. Bird, written by D. S. Watt and Raymond Birt, and illustrated by Kenneth M. Sibley and J. Collins.

This work tells the story of the ground breaking Queen Elizabeth, and a narrative of the boldest shipping enterprise yet undertaken.

Illustrated in colour and monochrome throughout the text.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. The dust wrapper is slightly worn, particularly to the extremities. There is a tear across the front board which has been temporarily fixed with tape. To the binding, there is some slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are very bright and clean.
