The first edition of Hugh Trevor-Roper's important work recounting the events that took place during the last days in Hitler's bunker.
Scarce in the dust wrapper.
Written as an assignment for the British Intelligence in 1945; through interviews with witnesses and the study of various documents he demonstrated that Hitler was dead and he had not escaped from Berlin.
A very important political and historical study of Hitler's character and dictatorship, with many historical documents carefully analysed, producing a remarkable analysis of the metamorphosis of power.
Illustrated with Hitler's bunker plan and a folding map of West and Central Berlin, as well as a frontispiece.
With the unclipped and scarce dust wrapper.
