Hans Christen Anderson was a Danish author who is best known for his fairy tales that present lessons of virtue and resilience.
This copy is delicately illustrated by H.M. Brock and includes a coloured frontispiece and eight black and white plates.
Collated, complete.
Condition
In green cloth binding. Externally, well presented. There is a mark to the front board and rear board and some fading and rubbing to the joints and extremities. There is light bumping to the spine. Internally, firmly bound with bright clean pages with some light scattered spots throughout.
