Although much of his works were supposedly for children they are more to adult and satirical tastes.
Condition
In publisher's cloth binding and held in original unclipped dustwrapper. Externally, excellent with just some minor bumping to the head and tail of spine. Offsetting to endpapers. Bookseller's label to the front pastedown, Henry Sotheran Ltd. Dustwrapper is very smart. Sunned, particularly to the spine, both the front and rear wraps have occasional spots. Slight rubbing to the joints and to the head and tail of spine. A few small chips to the head and tail of spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright. A few light spots to foredge, affecting occasional page. Loosely inserted is two leaves from this title, but not this particular copy.
