    The first edition of these works.

    A selection of three fiction and non-fiction works by Evelyn Waugh.

    'Scott-King's Modern Europe', published in 1947. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece.

    'Work Suspended', published in 1948.

    'Helena', published in 1950. Bookplate of D. C. Rose to the front pastedown.

    Evelyn Waugh was one of the most popular authors of the twentieth century, a member of the 1920s Bright Young Things.

    Without the original dustwrappers.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart. Minor bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Spine of 'Modern Europe' is a ltitle faded. Light marks to the boards and spines. Spots to the fore edge of 'Helena'. Bookplate to the front pastedown of 'Helena'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
