Description

A charming little work narrating the adventures of two mice after they move from a town to the countryside.

Rosalind Vallance also wrote Titty and Tatty's House-warming, Titty & Tatty by the River and 'Dickens's London'.

With in-text colour illustrations by Margaret Tempest (1892-1982), a British illustrator known for her illustrations of Alison Uttley's Little Grey rabbit books.

With a pictorial and unclipped dust wrapper.

A first edition of this uncommon work.

Condition

In the publisher's original paper covered boards, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally a little bumped to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper has some general wear, but is otherwise lovely. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean, bar one page which has been coloured and scribbled in pencil by a prior owner.
