What Our Customers Say...

Description

First Edition, Publishers' Original Binding, Scarce, With Dustwrapper

The first edition of this work, featuring two thrilling short stories: 'One from Five', and 'Murder's Out of Tune'.

With a price clipped dust wrapper for each story. While copies typically bear the 'One from Five' dust wrapper, also present here is a very scarce 'Murder's Out of Tune' dust wrapper. Both dust wrappers bear vibrant illustrations to the front wrap from Nat. Long.

Two mysteries are investigated in these tales. Firstly, in 'One from Five', five people visit a road-house, and one is killed. In 'Murder's Out of Tune', advertising executive John Howard falls from his office window without any witnesses.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with two price clipped dust wrappers. Externally, excellent. 'Murder's Out of Tune' dust wrapper very good indeed, with back strip and rear wrap age toned, with minor loss of paper to back strip head. Price label to back strip tail and front flyleaf. 'One From Five' dust wrapper in near fine condition, with small handling mark to tail of rear wrap. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned due to paper type, but clean.
