New Writing was a popular literary periodical in book format founded in 1936 by John Lehmann and committed to anti-fascism. Condition
In the original blue cloth binding. Externally, sound with light rubbing and minor bumping to the extremities. Fading to the spine and board edges. A 2" split in the cloth to the rear joint resulting in minor fraying. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright with light scattered spotting.
