First edition of Arts of the South Seas in the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. 

By Ralph Linton and Paul S. Wingert, in collaboration with Rene D'Hardnoncourt. 

This edition limited to 23,500 copies.

Illustrated with monochrome photographs throughout the text and colour illustrations by Miguel Covarrubias.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding and clipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart. There is some wear to the extremities of the dust wrapper, including some slight loss and a few small tears. To the binding, there is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean.
