Condition
In the original publisher's full cloth binding. Externally excellent with minor shelf wear only, a minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Inscribed by the author to the front free endpaper 'Nov. 1946. With much love' signed Rose. The dust wrapper is price-clipped and sound with shelf wear and sunning to the spine, chipping to the tail of the spine and a minor loss to the head. A minor closed tear to the spine of the dust wrapper. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean. With decorations in colour throughout by Peggy Fortnum.
