    Description

    First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

    First edition of 1946-1948 The NRA Book of Small Arms in the original publisher's cloth bindings. 

    Complete in two volumes. Volume I, 'Pistol's and Revolvers' and Volume II, 'Rifles'.

    Densely illustrated throughout and with two monochrome plates as the frontispieces for each volume. Collated, complete. 

    Co-published by The National Rifle Association of America and The Military Service Publishing Company. 

    Prior owner's ink inscriptions from 1947 to Volume I and 1949 to Volume II.

    Condition

    In the original publisher's cloth bindings. Externally, sound. There is some bumping to the heads and tails of the spines. There is some loss to the head of the spine of Volume I and some wear to the head and tail of the spine to Volume II. The hinges are strained but firm. Prior owner's ink inscriptions from 1947 to Volume I and 1949 to Volume II. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with some light spotting to the endpapers.
