The first edition, first impression of this work, in a bright signed half crushed morocco binding from Hatchards.

Compiled by Charles Eade, this is the fifth volume of Winston Churchill's World War Two speeches, consisting of those speeches dated from 22nd February 1944 to 31st December 1944.

Illustrated with a frontispiece and two double sided photographic plates. Collated, complete.

Condition

In a signed half crushed morocco binding, with cloth covered boards. A touch of fading to back strip, otherwise externally excellent. Significant spotting to text block fore edge, due to 'War Economy Standard' paper type. Internally, firmly bound. Instances of light spotting throughout, most concentrated to plate perimeters.
