Shelley Smith was the pseudonym used by Nancy Bodington to publish crime fiction. Between 1942 and 1978, she wrote fifteen crime and detective novels, some of which were published by Collins Crime Club.

In the publisher's original cloth binding, with price clipped dust wrapper. Marks to front board, with significant fading to spine head and tail. Edge wear to dust wrapper, with significant loss to head of back strip, and some to tail. Sunning to back strip also. Internally, firmly bound. Pages age toned due to Wartime Economy Standard paper type.
