A collection of five first edition novels by Agatha Christie.

'Death Comes as the End', published in 1945, the first edition first impression of this work.

'They Do it With Mirrors', published in 1952, the first edition second impression of this work, published in month following the first impression.

'Mrs. McGinty's Dead', published in 1952, the first edition first impression of this work. Four pages of adverts to the rear.

'After the Funeral', published in 1953, the first edition first impression of this work.

'A Pocket Full of Rye', published in 1953, the first edition first impression of this work.

Agatha Christie is one of the most prolific and successful detective writers of her time, writing sixty-six detective novels in total. She is best known for her protagonists Hercule Poirot and Miss Marple.

Without the original dustwrappers.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, generally smart, with some light marks to the boards and spines, heavier to 'Death Comes as the End' and 'Mrs. McGinty's Dead'. Light bumping to the spines and extremities. Spines of 'Death Comes as the End', 'Mrs. McGinty's Dead', and 'After the Funeral' are a little faded. Light spots to the boards of 'Death Comes as the End'. The odd spot to the fore edges. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto to the front endpapers of 'Death Comes at the End' and 'A Pocket Full of Rye'. Internally firmly bound. Pages are a little age-toned, as is usual, and clean.
