    Colour Plates, First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding, Very Scarce

    Illustrated in colour with images from the 1942 film, this lovely volume is a retelling of the plot of Felix Salten's 1923 novel 'Bambi, a Life in the Woods', in verse.

    This verse adaptation is the work of Lewis Spink.

    A charming summary of the plot of the beloved children's film, relayed in rhyming verse, following Bambi, Thumper and Flower in their forest adventures.

    Undated; dated 1944 via Jisc.

    Condition

    In the publisher's original illustrated paper covered wraps. Externally, bright. Wraps detached from text block at head and tail, but holding firm. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
