This work traces various political ideals which have inspired Liberals. Written by Sir Henry Slesser, an English barrister and Labour Party politician who served as Solicitor-General and Lord Justice of Appeal.

Condition

In the original black cloth binding. Externally, smart with light bumping and the odd mark to the board. Original unclipped dust wrapper also smart with chipping to the extremities, minor loss to the head and tail of the spine, and the odd tear. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean throughout.
