Creasey produced sixty works about 'Toff', an upper class sleuth named the Honourable Richard Rollinson.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with price unclipped dust wrappers. Instances of bumping to back strip heads and tails, but with boards generally exceptionally bright. Light fading to tail of front board of 'Fool the Toff'. Dust wrapper wraps bright, with significant losses to tail of 'Goes Gay', 'Takes Shares', 'Hammer' and 'Make-Up' back strips, and with further loss to head of Lady back strip. Light chipping to heads and tails of remaining back strips. Tape to the dust wrapper reverse of 'Kill', to the back strip head. inscriptions to front pastedown of 'A Six for the Toff', and to the front free endpaper of 'Make-Up for the Toff'. Internally, firmly bound. Pages generally clean and bright, with only the odd spot.
