Love, mystery and tragedy all take place within the Egyptian landscape, written by South African author F. Horace Rose. 

Rose is also known for writing 'The Maniac's Dream', a novel published in reaction to the Hiroshima atomic bombing the year prior.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding with original price-clipped dust wrapper. Externally smart with slight bumping to tail of spine. Light offsetting to endpapers. Clipped dust wrapper is sound with a few chips and scattered tidemarks, heaviest on the spine and back panel. Dust wrapper displays alternative cover on the inside. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally clean and bright with occasional spotting.
