Arthur George Street (1892-1966) was an English farmer, writer, and broadcaster. His most popular work is 'Farmer's Glory', in which the author described his time in Canada and how he returned to Wiltshire.

Condition

In the publisher's original cloth binding, in the original unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, smart. Minimal bumping and wear to the extremities and the head and tail of spine with fading to the head and tail as well as along the top edge of boards. Light spotting to text block. A few marks to paste downs and endpapers. Dust wrapper is sound. Edgewear and chipping has resulted in the front of wraps fully detaching from the spine region of wraps. More fading and wear to the edges of wraps, with age toning to the reverse of wraps and a few closed tears particularly to the bottom edge of rear wraps. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are age-toned with the odd spot to the fore edge.
