His Majesty's Minesweepers was prepared for The Admiralty by the Ministry of Information in 1943. A minesweeper is a small warship designed to remove or detonate naval mines and this pamphlet illustrates and describes the British minesweepers efforts during the first years of the Second World War.
Coastal Command is the Air Ministry account of the part played by Coastal Command in the Battle of the Seas in 1939 and 1942. With illustrations and diagrams throughout.
Condition
In the publisher's original paper wraps. Externally, both volumes are externally smart with some fading to the wraps and spine of Coastal Command. Internally, firmly bound with bright and clean pages.
