First edition of The Death of the Moon and Other Essays by Virginia Woolf in the original publisher's cloth binding.

The first impression of this work, with no later impression stated.

A fascinating collection of essays from one of the greatest writers of the twentieth century, revealing her attitudes and beliefs towards the end of her life.

Includes the notable 'A Letter to a Young Poet'.

Lacking the Vanessa Bell dust wrapper.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. There is some minor bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. There are some marks to the boards and the spine is slightly faded. Internally, firmly bound. The pages are bright and clean with the occasional spot.
