First Edition, Illustrated, Publishers' Original Binding

A fascinating first edition volume of the story of the 1942 film One of Our Aircraft is Missing. The film was written and produced by Michael Powell and Emeric Pressburger. 

The volume consists of the film transcript and is illustrated with photographs from the British National Picture which tells the adventures of a British Bomber Crew, forced to bale out over Holland after a raid on Germany.

The film was advised by the Air Ministry, the Admiralty and the War Office.

Condition

In the original pictorial paper wraps. Externally, generally smart. Some creasing to the wraps and light chipping to extremities. Previous owner inscription for John David Lang to front free endpaper. Page are firmly bound and generally bright and clean.
