An important work by Paul Brunton, in which he explores yoga and its meaning, an interesting work exploring the history of yoga.  

Paul Brunton is the pen-name used by Raphael Hurst, a noted author of spiritual works. He was one of the early popularised of Neo-Hindu spiritualism in Western Esotericism.

Condition

In the original publisher's cloth binding. Externally, smart. Spine is faded. Fading to the rear board. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spine and to the extremities. A few minor marks to the boards and spine. Prior owner's ink inscription to the recto of the front endpaper. Rear hinge is starting but firm. Internally, generally firmly bound, the final gathering is working loose. Pages are bright and clean. The occasional note to the margin.
