Six first edition volumes, with five unclipped dust wrappers.

Present here are:

The fourth impression of the first edition of 'Into Battle' (1941), published in the same year as the first impression. With a half tone frontispiece. With speeches dated between 1938 and November 1940, compiled by Randolph S. Churchill.

This volume is enclosed in a later price-unclipped dust wrapper, produced after 1945, as it bears an advertisement to the front flyleaf for the final volume in this work, dated 1945.

The first edition, first impression of 'The Unrelenting Struggle' (1942), with speeches dated between December 1940 and December 1941, compiled by Charles Eade. With a half tone frontispiece, in a facsimile dust wrapper.

The first edition, first impression of 'The End of the Beginning' (1943), compiled by Eade, with five half tone plates, and speeches given in 1942. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper, and with a further facsimile dust wrapper.

The first edition, first impression of 'Onwards to Victory' (1944), compiled by Eade, with five half tone plates, and speeches given in 1943. Collated, complete. In the publisher's original price unclipped dust wrapper.

In the publisher's original cloth bindings, with five unclipped publisher's original dust wrappers. Bumping to spine heads and tails, otherwise externally excellent. Bookplates to front pastedowns. Tape repair to reverse of volume I dust wrapper, with rubbing to folds, and small closed tear to head of front wrap. Small loss to centre of volume III back strip, and minor loss to back strip head. Tape reinforcements to the reverse. Marks to tail of volume IV back strip, small closed tear to tail of front wrap, with tape reinforcement to reverse of front wrap. Discolouration to volume V dust wrapper back strip, with tape reinforcements to reverse of back strip head and tail. Sunning to volume VI dust wrapper back strip, with rubbing to folds, and small closed tear to back strip tail. With two facsimile dust wrappers. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright.
