This thorough historical work covers the reign of the House of Romanov.

With accounts of the days of the Empress Elizabeth, Catherine the Great through to Alexander the II and the abdication of Nicholas II, leading to the official end of the Romanov's rule over Russia. 

From Anglo-Russian novelist and playwright, William Gerhardie, who joined the fight against the Bolsheviks in pre-revolutionary Russia.

Condition

In the original cloth binding. Externally, with rubbing and bumping to the extremities. Sunning to the spine and boards. Front hinges are tender but firm with marks to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright and clean with the occasional spot, heaviest to the first and last few leaves.
