Containing a handwritten note card as well as a typewritten letter from the author and a newspaper clipping about the release of the work. Addressed to Mr. P. J. Dobell of Dobell's Antiquarian Bookstore, Tunbridge Wells.

Autrey Nell Wiley (1901-1990) was an American literary critic who was Professor and later Dean of Texas Women's University.

Complete with an unclipped dust wrapper.

Illustrated, and with a full plate frontispiece illustration.

Condition

In the publisher's original full cloth binding, with an unclipped dust wrapper. Externally, very smart with just a little bumping to the head and tail of the spine. Dust wrapper has slight bumping to the head and tail of the spine but is otherwise in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean.
